quick note
my heart goes out to those in new orleans. i hope this won’t be another katrina. i saw the damage left by katrina and it was amazing yet depressing. i hope our government can pull through for them this time.

The damage caused by the most recent hurricane in New Orleans was not that bad. Today is Thursday, and we are getting ready for the hurricanes that are going to make land fall here on the east coast tomorrow. I don’t think it will be that bad either.
Anyway, since you closed comments on the last page I am forced to comment here. What is with all of those weddings? I know you said it, but I have to say it too. Is the weather so bad the rest of the year that everyone has to plan around the same few dates? And why can’t they consolidate? Fifty weddings in the city in one day, some of these people have to know each other.
Why does that town have the only devil museum in the world? Did they collect devil art and artifacts from around the world to create this one of a kind museum? Or, do the people of that great city just like to make little devils out of clay? I know they like to make huge ominous jesus paintings to hang in the front of churches. “If the surmon does’nt make you feel bad about yourself, then this painting of Jesus will, GOD DAMN IT!”
And, if I may, I would like to say that I have enjoyed reading in every entry, commentary on the search for a coffee shop or the midday beer at a local watering hole. I feel closer to mankind knowing that no matter where you are in the world the constant search for uppers and downers remains constant.
